Whack Knocking in Service (15,000 Machine Knocks)
Get your new bat knocked in professionally and have it ready to play straightaway. All the efforts have been taken by WHACK Sports to knock the bats in perfectly for optimum use.
Knocking in a bat is a very essential process to get the optimum value out of a cricket bat. Cricket Bats are expensive items and therefore it is important to take good care of it. Knocking in process reduces the chances of a crack in your bat by 80%. Hence it is highly recommended to knock in a bat before it is used. Not only this, it maximizes the bats' performance by a great extent.
Knocking in process can be done by hand using a wooden mallet or it can be done using a machine. If you knock in the bat using a wooden mallet a good 15-20 hours of knocking is essential. To save the time and energy of our customers, we at WHACK Sports use a fully automated machine to knock in the bats. The bat will be ready to use in 45 minutes.
Our fully automated machine is preset to give 15,000 knocks which covers the toe, edges and the blade. No further knocking will be required after that. Check out the links below to see how a bat is knocked.
Once your bat has had the complete bat preparation service you should consider having an extratec fitted to get maintenance free use and increase the life of your bat.
If you are local we can do it within an hour for you while you wait, or ship it to us for a turn around time of 1 day.
